Beta Club
Our purpose is to install ideals of character, service and leadership, and to reward high academic achievement.
The National Beta Club is a student-centered organization which nurtures students by providing the opportunities
and experiences enabling them to demonstrate the ideals of character, achievement, service and leadership in our world.
Students are required to keep their grades to an A/B average and show humility and service as leaders in the school and
throughout our community. The students are required to show excellent examples of ethical and moral manners and are
to be truthful and honest at all times.
The Beta Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month. Elections for officers are held each year after the report cards
are issued. The Beta Club is a student-run club with supervision from Faculty sponsors. Projects are of service to the
community or the school. One major project the students focus on is continuing a recycling program at school.
As we are a service club, students are involved in helping the community at Meals on Wheels, The Taste of Gaffney, and
the American Cancer Society.

It is opened from 7:30 until 7:55 each morning. We sponsor fun days monthly where students pay $1 to participate with proceeds going
to a designated charity.
